The use of abstract language e.g. slang and sarcasm has become embedded into our every day speech and communication. This can be difficult for people with Autism to deal with and translate.

What if instead of encouraging people with Autism to adjust to the social language we have created, we consider our choice of speech more carefully.

Let's Say What We Mean is a video campaign focusing on the language choices of people without Autism. It aims to make people realise how simple language choices to us, can be confusing to people with Autism.
