Digital Wellbeing Experiments

A series of playful, thought provoking apps

Digital Wellbeing Experiments is a showcase of ideas and tools that help people find a better balance with technology that launched on Experiments with Google. Each experiment addressed a different negative habit that people wanted to break. For example, Desert Island: An experiment challenging you to focus, by going a day with only your essential apps.

On top of the experiments, we made a Hack Pack that used in workshops to help people think about what their own ideas could be too; with the hope that the more people that get involved, the more we can collectively learn about building better technology. We designed them as individual packs, with example habits you may want to break & example scenarios to address.
